Are you looking for the best place to go horseback riding in St Lucia? On our recent visit to the island, we decided to try out horseback riding on the beach and highly recommend checking out Dores Riding Stables. We booked our tour directly with them and they provided an amazing experience that went well above and beyond our expectation. They brought several staff members to help with our group of 7 (with 3 kids) and the horses were very healthy looking.

What to Expect on the Horseback Ride
Since we booked our ride directly with the stable, they were able to pick us up at Windjammer Landing. We met the horses near Pigeon Point. The entire ride lasted about 2.3 hours and since it got hot, they took the horses (and a few of the riders) into the water to cool off. This was one of the highlights of the trip for Freja!
Once of the other best parts of the ride was that a few of the horses had had babies recently and they brought along the babies. The horses were healthy and excellent for safe riding.
One important note is that they did offer helmets to the riders and the kids all wore helmets.
